Nashville · Singer · Songwriter · Producer
He's been doing this since he was twelve. Radio Disney host. Toured with Shawn Mendes before he could drive. Babyface signed him in high school. He skipped prom for Nashville. Did COVID in college, came back with a business degree and a head full of music he couldn't afford to record any other way — so he learned to produce.
He's twenty-five now. Eight million Spotify streams. Twenty million YouTube views. No label. No publicist. No fancy manager. Two co-writes with Shay Mooney, both released. Editorial playlists. The Bluebird. His own headlining night at The Listening Room. One slow grind, made the right way.
He's not viral. He's not chasing viral. He's here to make every room better. Scroll down — the rest of it tells itself.
Alex isn't a viral kid. He's been putting in the work quietly for a long time. These are the moments that happen when you work hard and stay nice.
One of the most listened-to shows in country radio. Syndicated nationally. Grand Ole Opry presenter. He found Alex's music and started featuring it. No label. No publicist. No ask. He just liked the song.
Alex sat down with Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay. Just coffee. He came with questions. They ended up in the studio. The result: Stay Here and A Different Place — both released and streaming now.
Alex woke up tagged in a video he had nothing to do with. Choreographers at a country western club in Spain built a full line dance to his music. No promotion. Just his song, crossing an ocean on its own.
Alex Angelo was born in Florida, raised between Cleveland and Cincinnati, shaped by two parents who never let music be background noise — a radio programmer father who moved the family around the country, and a music teacher mother.
At 12 he had his own Radio Disney show — the youngest nationally syndicated host in history. He danced for the Cavs as a young teen. By high school he was on national tours with Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, and Austin Mahone. At 17, Babyface signed him and the LA trips started. While other kids were going to prom, he was driving to Nashville.
Then COVID. He went to college, graduated with a business degree, moved to Nashville at 19, and started over. He learned to produce because he couldn't afford to pay anyone, and because the music was already in his head and needed somewhere to go.
Now 25. Writing and producing across country, pop, R&B, and K-pop. Releasing consistently. Landing editorial playlists. Headlining his own night at The Listening Room. Just played the Bluebird. Co-wrote two songs with Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay. 100% independent — 8M Spotify streams, 20M+ YouTube views.
An NBA arena.
He was 11. Danced for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The first stage was a hardwood floor under arena lights.
Babyface.
12-time Grammy winner Babyface signed Alex to a production deal in high school.
Radio Disney.
Youngest nationally syndicated host in the show's history.
Business.
He used the COVID years to graduate with a business degree — then drove straight to Nashville and started over.
A line dance went viral. Without him.
Choreographers in Spain built a country-western line dance to one of his songs. He woke up tagged. Zero promotion.
He couldn't afford it.
Two reasons: he didn't have the money to pay producers, and the music was already in his head and needed somewhere to go.
